Lyttelton, portal to Canterbury’s historic past, a vibrant sustainable community creating a living future

What about liability? What if a member is injured during a trade?

The Lyttelton Time Bank is run under the umbrella of Project Lyttelton. Project Lyttelton has Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers time bank members for events held on the Project Lyttelton site.

As part of the on-line registration process members must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions of time banking. One of these conditions is that the Lyttelton Time Bank “shall have neither liability nor responsibility to any person or entity with respect to loss, damage, or injury caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly by information contained on this web site or any other Time Bank resources”.
